This page has basic instructions for how to use the Dundee Artists Database, either as a user or a searcher. If you find the DAD difficult to use or search, you can always let the DAD know by leaving some feedback.

A top tip for users and searchers is that all pages can be found at the bottom of each page on the DAD website.

How to Use (User edition)

Using from the Instagram page:

TLDR: InstagramDAD Mission Statement → Scroll to bottom of page → Read Terms and Conditions → Scroll to bottom of page → Go to “DAD Form”, fill in details If you clicked the link in the DAD Instagram bio, it will take you to the DAD Mission Statement page. From there, scroll to the bottom of the mission statement page to find links to the other DAD pages including Terms and Conditions, Feedback, Contact, Dundee Artists Database and Form. All users should read the Terms and Conditions before using the DAD.

To use the DAD, go to the DAD Form page after reading the Terms and Conditions, then scroll to the bottom of the page to find the DAD Form, from there you will be taken to a Google Form. When filling in the form please exercise caution as the nature of the DAD is that it is publicly available so please only use professional contact details and information that you are happy to have publicly available. You can then use the DAD User Survey or our Feedback link to let the DAD know how it could improve or what you enjoyed about it.

If you’d like to view your submission on the DAD you can go to the bottom of any page on the DAD Website and find the Dundee Artists Database link which will take you to the publicly available spreadsheet.
